A Love for Peru

Peru holds a deep place in our hearts. For my wife, it is home, a country rich in tradition, flavor, and national pride. Through her, I fell in love with Peru and felt a responsibility to share that love not only with our children, but with the world.

Coffee as the Beginning

Specialty coffee was the natural starting point.

For me, coffee has always felt like lifeblood, shaped by long commutes into Manhattan and a deep appreciation for bold, flavorful black coffee. After visiting farms and speaking with producers in Peru, we discovered what we believe to be one of the world’s most beautiful yet underrepresented coffee origins.

Peru’s elevation, soil, and microclimates produce coffees that are delicate, complex, and unforgettable. Once we experienced them firsthand, it felt almost impossible not to share them.

Tea and the Tradition of Wellness

Tea followed just as naturally.

My wife has long been fascinated with holistic wellness, having grown up surrounded by natural remedies passed down through generations. Many of her family members lived well into their hundreds, supported by simple habits, natural teas, and a balanced lifestyle.

Tea is just as central to Farmer’s Chuyo as coffee.

Our adult tea line is crafted to support balance, comfort, and intentional living. We thoughtfully source high-quality botanicals from around the world to create teas meant to be enjoyed as part of everyday rituals, whether starting the morning, supporting the body’s natural defenses, unwinding in the evening, or simply creating a moment of calm.

Kusi Kup’s Teas

From that same wellness philosophy came Kusi Kup’s Teas, a children’s tea line designed to introduce healthy habits early in life.

Our artisanal teas are flavorful, fun, and crafted with care, offering a zero-sugar alternative to juice while supporting hydration and mindful routines.

While we do not promise a 100-year lifespan, we do believe that a healthy lifestyle enriches both mind and body and strengthens families along the way.
